Marco Dessí first trained as a dental technician before studying industrial design at the Vienna University of Applied Arts, where some of his student projects already attracted international attention. In 2008, he set up his own design studio. Marco Dessí is interested in the unique symbiosis of function, construction and aesthetics and his work method always involves a deep understanding of and proximity to the production process, both in craftsmanship and industrial production. Dessí’ s approach is a practical and cooperative one where design is conceived as an interactive process.
